Morals vs Ethics:  What is the difference between morals and ethics?

From everything I researched, morals were more personal, habitual and individual while ethics were more about rules, standards and group oriented.

The next link gave a bit different variation between the two but definitely gave me some food for thought.  Done differently, it provided different explanations of the two with more examples and broke them down in an interesting way to me.

I found it interesting that both words origin is Greek – so they have always meant something different.  If they had originated from different cultures that might have been a bit different story.

Questions to Ponder:

After looking at the different links, does that give you a clearer picture between the two?

What did you learn on this quick journey?

  • About yourself?
  • About others around you?
  • About your children?
  • About your business?
