Tip of the Week – Process – Apr 22/24

Process:  Keeping in line with the last few weeks’ topics, we’ll touch a little bit on process.

Franchises have succeeded because of this very thing.  They follow a process or system – the franchise owners and staff follow the process or system and do it the same way which is how they are identified and also how they have figured out to succeed.

A franchise (or franchising) is a method of distributing products or services involving a franchisor, who establishes the brand’s trademark or trade name and a business system, and a franchisee, who pays a royalty and often an initial fee for the right to do business under the franchisor's name and system. Technically, the contract binding the two parties is the “franchise,” but that term more commonly refers to the actual business that the franchisee operates. The practice of creating and distributing the brand and franchise system is most often referred to as franchising. (https://www.franchise.org/faqs/basics/what-is-a-franchise

Having a process and system is an essential part in the success, productivity and profitability of your business.  It assists in overall teamwork, defining of positions, while providing structure.

Questions to Ponder:

What are your current processes?

Do you have any in place?

Are they being utilized?

Do your processes need to be changed or updated?
