Tip of the Week – Safety Manuals – June 3/24

Safety Manuals:  Are you involved in an industry where you are required to have a Safety Manual?

Even if you are in an industry that doesn’t require these, there are many good aspects that could be incorporated into your business that would be beneficial.

A Safety program keeps people accountable in many different ways.  There are many other topics involved or included in the manual.  There are many examples online to choose from or review.

There are many companies out there that will assist in creating and completing a safety manual for your company quite reasonably priced.

I have included a few different links for review.

If you do not have something in place, think about putting something into place.  Putting things in a manual make it efficient and more effective for people to be more consistent and know exactly where they stand.

This way it is a sort of rule or guide book for people to follow along.  Not many things need to be said, because it is written and expected by all – then everyone can be on the same page – leaving less for interpretation and more of an equal playing field.

All sports have a guideline or rule book to follow – it simplifies things and keeps things more inline.

Questions to Ponder:

Would have a guideline assist in some of the issues facing your business?

Would creating a safety program be beneficial for your company?

Is it worth looking in to?
